How DOES A SEMIDIURNAL TIDE INDICATOR work?
The Bower Tide Seeker tracks semidiurnal tides, which cover most of the world's coastlines. There are two low and high tides daily, with high tides occurring every 12 hours and 25 minutes.
Once set to your local tide, the central semidiurnal tide hand will take this time to make one full rotation so you can stay connected with your favourite body of water, wherever you are.
TIDE & TIME
Always be the one to know how long until low or high tide, as the tide hand sweeps over the engraved inner-tide bezel.
Reminiscent of the ebb and flow of ocean tides over a sandy beach, the dial is textured and coloured to maximise visual depth.

Like floating buoys on the night sea, the five-minute, hour, and 12 / 3 / 6 / 9 indices are crafted using 0.5mm thick, cyan-blue Swiss Super-LumiNova lume.

A subtle and novel way to closely integrate the minute hand with the dial.
Appreciate every five-minute increment with clarity by looking through the minute hand cutout to the round indices below.
PRECISELY IMPRECISE
Precisely imprecise hour and minute hands are rounded at their tip; you'll always know what time it is, but not at the expense of knowing precisely what tide it is.
Precise to -0.33 / +0.67 seconds per day, with a total power reserve of up to 5 years, there's no need to regularly wind it or set it.

Incredibly scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a box profile and inner anti-reflective coating for optimum visibility in all conditions.
We put the anti-reflective coating on the inside of the sapphire crystal so that the coating doesn't get damaged and deteriorate over time.
ABSOLUTE STRAP MONSTER
Designed to be an absolute strap monster, featuring a 20mm lug width.
We optimised the lug hole placement so you can easily swap in your favourite straps, no matter how thick or thin they are.
Purpose-driven design that embraces quartz mechanical technology to create a set-and-forget, grab-and-go watch for everyday adventures.
Crafted from solid 316L stainless steel for incredible corrosion resistance, every surface is finely brushed for a refined and practical tool watch finish.
Includes a handmade genuine black leather strap, paired with durable stainless steel quick-release spring bars and buckle.
ABOUT US
We are coming to you from the sunny shores of Manly, Australia. We met at work where we quickly learned about our shared passion for mechanical watches. Our passion inspired us to design a special watch just for us… but along the way, we realised it would be a huge shame if we didn't share it with all of you.
Outside of our obsession with watches, Sylvain is a product designer and avid surfer and fisherman, and Roger is a product manager and trained architect who loves to 3D print in his free time.
